Lake Erie brings new meaning to the term standing water! It is one of the rare bodies of water where I’ve witnessed time and time again, how for the briefest moment in time, water seems to defy the laws of gravity. Perhaps it is the sorcery of the ‘Witch of November’ which enables massive 5-10m walls of water to stand before her wickedness? Whatever it is, it never ceases to amaze those of us who brave the frigid temperatures and gale force winds to witness the fury she unleashes across the Great Lakes.
