Sparked By Clark

Some of my earliest childhood memories are of my love for all things ocean. Growing up and still residing nearly 2000 km from the nearest ocean has always made me cherish and appreciate every waking moment I get to be by the sea. My love of the ocean comes by me naturally as my mother is from the East Coast of Canada, so I have saltwater running through my veins. When it comes to ocean inspiration, photographer Clark Little’s shorebreak photography was what first sparked me to want to take my camera into the surf. The image here was truly ‘Sparked by Clark’ one of my many ocean photography inspirations. Shooting shore break is hands down one of the most physically challenging things one can do in life! Especially when you are learning! I have taken my lumps shooting shorebreak, each and every one, with a smile on my face and about 5 lbs of sand in my shorts. I love every moment of it, it is beyond rewarding to capture the power and beauty of the ocean. Mahalo Clark for inspiring me to follow my dreams into the oceans around the world.
