Lake Erie is known for her violent moods. Even her name Erie comes from the indigenous word Erige, which means ‘Lake of the Cat’. Because her mood can change as unpredictably as a cat. I am often in absolute awe and, I will admit a little bit frightened when I am amid these waves breaking and exploding like a bomb exploding! Such raw and unbridled power that can rock you to your core.
